Values on fiction
I needed to make this document because discourse in fiction is reaching an unsustainable situation, so these are my values on fiction, in order to gatekeep as strictly as possible:
Pro-shipper means one only thing. No more:
Dont harass people over fictional content
About antis
I won't tolerate anything that goes into harassing or attacking one person because of a fictional content, regardless of age. If you make it, I don't mind your age, you are gonna suffer the same consequences
Antis are helping real pedophiles to roam free, by allowing "protective adults" on their spaces (the ones that will really want to get in touch with minors) and clogging specific tools against predators
Minor antis are contaminated by learning on the darkest places on internet at young ages; thinking they can harass and threaten people with no consequences
They won't learn by other persons that heir behavior is wrong. They only turn "ex-antis" when they suffer harassment in their own circles
So we only have one possibility: Don't enter in their games, don't allow them to "debate", just scare them away of our circles
If you ease expression for antis, it's the same as being an anti
But aren't you in some way, asking to harass antis to move them away? No, I'm asking people to defend.
If this happened to you physically, in the street, what would you do?
Difference between a pro-shipper and a problematic person
It's so obvious that if no one sees it, they are being blind on purpose:
If the supposed pro-shipper only focuses in a kind of specific thing on fiction, mostly underage, feeling repulsion over anything over the legal age with no exceptions, it's a problematic person
Even so, there is no solid legal procedure against this. So, the person isn't doing anything illegal
Faux equidistance
This kind of behaviour is specially painful, because it's made by covert antis in order to convince pro-shippers about the purity of anti-shippers and their supposed suffering or blame them of and inexistent bigotry globally
They are recognizable because they talk a lot about problems in "pro-shipping community" but they overlook or ease off issues on the other side
I don't mind if you are pro-shipper, or if your global values are similar, if you support this fake equidistance, you are the same as anti-shippers
Also, no, if you don't like a specific ship because simply, you don't like it; you aren't an anti. I remark it because this is also being used by equidistants to attack pro-shippers
Obviously, all tolerant circles, collectives, groups... have particular people that deserve to be expelled, but taking particular cases as a global problem is a very old twisted argument against the opposite
Law
Every penal code stands the obvious: A crime is commited with a perpetrator and a victim, both being legal or physical persons
Fictional content doesn't have any of those two roles. So, it's not a crime. If it was a crime, all gore content should be a crime, and all violent scenes in a fictional work should be a crime too
If you are firmly against this values
Then don't interact with me at all
